We served for seven years at Grace Baptist Church in Taipei, Taiwan. It was a wonderful time of watching the Lord move in the lives of people from all over the world. Here are some pictures of our work there and of some of the wonderful people we now consider our Taiwan Family!

Prayer Retreat - We had a prayer retreat each year up at Yan Ming Mountain.
Ministry Fair
Adult Band Recital - At GBC our dear friend Kathy Gross, from Tulsa, OK, helped start an adult band for all of us who always wished we could play an instrument but somehow never found the time to learn.
On our Sunday School retreat we got to play with clay and experience many traditional Taiwanese arts and crafts, teas, and snacks. It was a great day of fellowship with teachers from the Chinese and English congregations. Terrie was asked to share a message at the retreat and was very blessed to do so.
Our GBC Adult Choir as we were preparing for our Taiwan Choir trip. We performed Experiencing God, the Musical in six cities in one week with the choir from Fair Oaks, Calfornia's First Southern Baptist Church. 87 people came to the Lord during that week that we know of. It was such a wonderful trip. We all hope to do another one in another year or two.

Children's Art Festival - the story behind this is kind of interesting. The Lord actually put this idea on Terrie's heart way back in 1990 when we lived in California, but each time she would ask God if she should pursure the idea, He would answer with a "not yet". When we came to Taiwan, the answer seemed to change. She just knew this was the place for this dream to come true. It came true in 2004 and has continued each year since.

A mission team from Tulsa's Glenwood Baptist Church came to help with Vacation Bible School summer 06. Terrie's dad was one of the team members. The Taiwan Happy Family Association is a ministry run by one of our friends. He arranged for a group to come to the church and the team shared Christ with them and then we shared lunch together. It was a great opportunity to share the Gospel.
